Another memory of the artist's youthful activities growing up on the Southside of Chicago in the 1960s. Many hours were spent hanging around various street corners with the guys shooting the breeze, smoking cigarettes, pitch'n pennies (or nickels or quarters, also called "lagging"}, or just watching the cars drive by, hoping a friend will stop and take you for a ride. This piece was selected for inclusion in the recent San Diego Studio Door Gallery's "Works of Excellence" Show 2023's catalog and Art Fluent's "Urban" October 2023 on-line show.
